Acres of Terror, previously known as “The Spooky Wagon Ride” – Celebrating 25 years of Terror!
Cannamore Orchard welcomes you to our 25th year of Acres of Terror™, Eastern Ontario’s most terrifying Halloween attraction, where the only thing that isn’t terrifying is the price! We are proud to present this in co-operation with St. Francis Xavier High School Band from Hammond.
Acres of Terror @ Cannamore Orchard is the only Halloween experience in the Ottawa Valley area that won’t charge you an arm or a leg, rather we do promise a REAL spooky experience. We have approximately 50 human actors ready to scare you at any given time!
Our wagons offer a tour through the orchard and woods, narrated by a Cannamore Witch or Warlock. Our ghouls will thrill you as they present Halloween related scenes, involving witches, flying monsters, zombies, clowns, body snatchers and more. Rides for the brave run after dark but for the little ones there are weekend afternoon rides. The night ride is definitely for those 8 and older but you are the judge!
Your admission to Acres of Terror™ also includes the House of Terror, presented by the band students from St. Francis Xavier High School, the Kid’s Spooky House, the Spooky Fog Maze and the Spooky Village. The Spooky Village, the only one of its kind in the world, presently has 8 houses and offers a chance for the visitor to interact with vampires, witches, coffin makers and more. Stick around and have your fortune told if you are brave enough to learn what is in store for you. Visit the new asylum if you’re brave enough!
Again this year, Sunday afternoon is Family Day with special activities taking place in the village. These activities are especially for children and take place twice each Sunday afternoon.
When planning your visit be aware that on busy Friday or Saturday nights the line up times for the House of Terror or for the Spooky Wagon Ride can be over an hour long, we recommend arriving early and going on the Spooky Wagon Ride first.
We’re proud to be wheelchair accessible! All of our Acres of Terror attractions are wheelchair accessible. Please keep in mind that the terrain leading to each attraction is a gravel surface.
Acres of Terror may be canceled during inclement weather. If there is a chance of thunderstorms or high winds, please phone ahead to make sure we’re operational.
